Any artist will tell you that creating takes effort. Sometimes the goal seems to be far beyond the limits of our skills, no matter how we try to outwit those limits. And yet, every now and again, we are gifted with the chance to see something take form beneath our hands, seemingly of its own volition. This is my gifted piece, and the only one ever completed in a single setting (8 hours in this case).
